Let me be clear…I like hotels and normally avoid motels. But for this trip, the only places with availability were motels and I’m glad I chose Great House Motel. The owners are VERY sweet. The rooms are a little dated (furniture wise) but really clean with thoughtful touches and important updates. There were complimentary granola bars, trail mix, water bottles, and instant coffee. Smart TVs. Microwave. Electric kettle. Extra blankets/pillows. And a portable AC/Space Heater. It was very comfortable and felt like I was staying at a friends house.
